What is a cataract?

Concluding any surgery, it is possible for you to obtain fogging of the capsule containing the artificial lens. This can appear anywhere between a few months to a few years. It results from the so-called secondary cataract, which is resolved via a quick outpatient treatment (capsulotomy) that we perform with a particular laser (Yag laser), which solves the problem permanently. After one or two days you can safely return to normal activities, such as reading or using a computer.
