Q: What foods can I eat before undergoing breast cancer surgery?
A: You will be asked to fast for 6 hours before the procedure and drink only clear liquids such as coffee, tea and fruit juices. Two hours before the procedure, only water is allowed. It is advisable for you to also avoid drinking any carbonated drinks and milk.
