Joint swelling

Joint swelling is a symptom indicated through accumulation of fluid in the soft tissues surrounding the joints. It may be associated with pain, stiffness and in some cases even fever.

 

What kind of diseases can be associated with joint swelling?

In case of joint swelling the best remedy depends on its cause. In the presence of a trauma, ice compresses can reduce both the swelling and the pain.
