Moxonidine

Moxonidine is used for the treatment of hypertension.

 

What is Moxonidine?

 

Moxonidine acts by relaxing the muscles present in the blood vessel wall, promoting the expansion of the latter. The result is a reduction in blood pressure.

 

How should Moxonidine be taken?

 

Moxonidine is taken orally in the form of tablets to be swallowed with water.

 

Side effects associated with Moxonidine

 

Among the adverse effects most commonly associated with Moxonidine treatment are included:

 

  • Dry mouth
  • Drowsiness
  • Stomach problems
  • Headache
  • Back ache
  • Insomnia
