All the latest highly precise equipment for radiosurgery and radiotherapy are presented in Humanitas: 5 linear accelerators (trueBEAM, EDGE), Gamma knife, as well as Proton Therapy (starting from December 2025), whereas the team of this Unit not only train future radiotherapists, but also establish new protocols for less invasive treatments of prostatic cancer, brain and head&neck tumors, inoperable liver and pancreas lesions, abdominal metastases, chordomas, lung and pleural cancer.
