Comme les autres c\u00e9phalosporines, le c\u00e9faclor inhibe la croissance bact\u00e9rienne en interf\u00e9rant avec la synth\u00e8se de la paroi cellulaire bact\u00e9rienne. Les c\u00e9phalosporines se lient aux enzymes transpeptidases qui sont utilis\u00e9es pour cr\u00e9er des liens entre les cha\u00eenes du peptidoglycane (le polym\u00e8re essentiel \u00e0 la formation de la paroi cellulaire bact\u00e9rienne). L&#8217;inhibition de l&#8217;activit\u00e9 de la transpeptidase compromet la stabilit\u00e9 de la paroi cellulaire bact\u00e9rienne, entra\u00eenant la mort des cellules bact\u00e9riennes en croissance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"quest-ce-que-le-cefaclor\">Qu&#8217;est-ce que le c\u00e9faclor ?<\/h2>\n<p>Le c\u00e9faclor est utilis\u00e9 dans le traitement des infections l\u00e9g\u00e8res ou mod\u00e9r\u00e9es caus\u00e9es par des bact\u00e9ries sensibles aux c\u00e9phalosporines, en particulier dans les syst\u00e8mes respiratoire, auditif, t\u00e9gumentaire et g\u00e9nito-urinaire. Par rapport \u00e0 la c\u00e9phalexine, il a une plus grande activit\u00e9 envers les bact\u00e9ries \u00e0 Gram n\u00e9gatif et en particulier envers l&#8217;Haemophilus influenza, et est donc souvent class\u00e9 comme c\u00e9phalosporine de deuxi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration (malgr\u00e9 ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physico-chimiques et pharmacocin\u00e9tiques superposables aux c\u00e9phalosporines de premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"comment-faut-il-prendre-le-cefaclor\">Comment faut-il prendre le c\u00e9faclor ?<\/h2>\n<p>La capacit\u00e9 de ce m\u00e9dicament \u00e0 r\u00e9sister aux environnements acides tels que le cancer gastrique et l&#8217;excellent degr\u00e9 d&#8217;absorption intestinale garantissent la possibilit\u00e9 d&#8217;administrer le c\u00e9faclor par voie orale. Il est administr\u00e9 sous forme de suspension orale ou de capsule.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"les-effets-secondaires-associes-au-cefaclor\">Les effets secondaires associ\u00e9s au c\u00e9faclor<\/h2>\n<p>En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, le c\u00e9faclor semble bien tol\u00e9r\u00e9 et ne pr\u00e9sente aucun effet secondaire particulier ; toutefois, dans le cas d&#8217;un traitement prolong\u00e9 ou de doses plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, et particuli\u00e8rement chez les patients sensibles ou sensibles \u00e0 ses ingr\u00e9dients, il peut provoquer les sympt\u00f4mes suivants :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troubles gastro-intestinaux : naus\u00e9es, vomissements, diarrh\u00e9e, douleurs abdominales ;<\/li>\n<li>Troubles neurologiques : maux de t\u00eate, \u00e9tourdissements ;<\/li>\n<li>Anomalies h\u00e9matologiques : agranulocytose, thrombocytop\u00e9nie, an\u00e9mie ;<\/li>\n<li>Anomalies de la fonction h\u00e9patique : \u00e9l\u00e9vation des transaminases s\u00e9riques (SGOT, SGPT) ; augmentation de la bilirubine ;<\/li>\n<li>Anomalies de la fonction r\u00e9nale : ipercr\u00e9atin\u00e9mie ;<\/li>\n<li>R\u00e9actions allergiques : d\u00e9mangeaisons, urticaire, r\u00e9actions anaphylactiques, hypotension, bronchospasme, laryngospasme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"contre-indications-et-mises-en-garde-associees-a-lutilisation-de-cefaclor\">Contre-indications et mises en garde associ\u00e9es \u00e0 l&#8217;utilisation de cefaclor<\/h2>\n<p>Le c\u00e9faclor est contre-indiqu\u00e9 chez les patients pr\u00e9sentant une hypersensibilit\u00e9 chimique aux composants ou \u00e0 d&#8217;autres substances \u00e9troitement apparent\u00e9es, en particulier aux p\u00e9nicillines, aux c\u00e9phalosporines et aux antibiotiques b\u00eata-lactamines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 le manque d&#8217;\u00e9tudes capables de tester l&#8217;innocuit\u00e9 de ce m\u00e9dicament sur la sant\u00e9 f\u0153tale, la prise de c\u00e9faclor pendant la grossesse ne doit \u00eatre prescrite que sous \u00e9troite surveillance m\u00e9dicale et uniquement en cas de besoin r\u00e9el. Les m\u00eames pr\u00e9cautions doivent \u00eatre observ\u00e9es pendant la p\u00e9riode d&#8217;allaitement, car l&#8217;ingr\u00e9dient actif a tendance \u00e0 s&#8217;accumuler dans le lait maternel.
