Our Identity
For more than 28 years, the Fertility Center at Humanitas has been at the side of couples pursuing the desire to become parents, with a commitment to build a path around their needs, providing a team of highly specialized professionals, innovative technologies and comfortable environments.
The multidisciplinary team, directed by Professor Paolo Emanuele Levi Setti and composed of gynecologists, andrologists, anesthesiologists, geneticists, psychologists, biologists and nurses, has already supported more than 50,000 couples with expertise and passion, with a single goal: to realize their dream of a family.
Helping life, the most beautiful goal
When Humanitas created an in-house Center completely dedicated to couples, fertility and reproductive problems in 1996, it felt it necessary to look at the best models of care existing in the world.
Today, with more than 3,000 new couples met each year, surpassing the total of 50,000 consultations, more than 15,000 pregnancies and 11,000 babies born, Humanitas Fertility Center is as it was envisioned from the beginning.
Humanitas Fertility Center now houses one of the most important infertile couple care services in Italy and Europe. In terms of numbers and quality of services – more than 40,000 each year – the Center is comparable to the largest foreign facilities and has a medical and health staff with international experience gained in the best Italian and foreign universities.
The couple at the center
At Humanitas Fertility Center the couple is at the center, offering comprehensive care through a pathway designed to ensure the most modern technologies and offer serenity and confidentiality.
The highly specialized staff is available at every stage of the diagnostic and therapeutic pathway. In fact, at Humanitas Fertility Center they operate on a continuous cycle, seven days a week, guaranteeing immediate assistance and a response to every need of the couple. In addition, being a high level of complexity facility (Level III), we are committed to providing specific conditions that are essential for high complexity care. Being part of a large hospital facility allows us to offer consultations, investigations and interventions aimed at resolving any complications, using advanced diagnostic tools.
In addition, it is also important for us to facilitate couples from other provinces or regions, in order to concentrate and optimize the check-up phase and reduce the stay in Milan: those who reside in distant cities should plan little more than a week’s stay.
