I am pregnant, can I still perform the surgery?
There are no absolute contraindications, however the need to administer medications and eye drops before and after surgery does not recommend proceeding with the operation at this time. Also, during pregnancy the cornea suffers a biomechanical failure that makes it less predictable in terms of the final outcome of the intervention.
